January 15, 2013Trying to remote desktop to a Windows 8 PC and receive the following error: To sign in remotely, you need the right to sign in through Remote Desktop Services. By default, members of the Remote Desktop Users group have this right. If the group you're in doesn't have this right, or if the right has been removed from the Remote Desktop Users group, you need to be granted this right manually.
January 21, 2013If you’re running gpresult to troubleshoot group policies you may notice that in the computer details section it states, “no data available”.
If this is the case you have not ran the command prompt as administrator. Before opening the command prompt right click on it and say run as administrator. This should resolve this problem.
