If you right click on your taskbar that is the long bar that runs across the bottom of your screen. Then select task manager. This will bring up the task manager and you can click on the tab that says processes. Then click twice on the column that says CPU. This will arrange all of your process by which ones are taking up the most of your processors time. From here the troubleshooting begins but at least you have an idea what is sucking up your resources.
