Fully managed IT

Managed IT services for Phoenix and East Valley businesses

Velocity runs IT for businesses that want one accountable team for the help desk, security, Microsoft 365, backup, vendors and planning. Help desk and support are available 24/7.

Many businesses come to us after break-fix support, an overloaded internal IT person or another MSP has left them with the same tickets every month and no plan.

Platforms we support

Common platforms Velocity supports and coordinates

  • Microsoft 365
  • Cisco
  • Dell
  • VMware
  • SonicWall
  • Datto
  • Veeam
  • Ubiquiti

Who Velocity is the right fit for

Teams of up to 100 users

Velocity publishes per-user rates for teams of 1 to 100 users that depend on Microsoft 365 and cloud applications and want a predictable monthly IT cost. Larger teams are scoped individually.

Recurring issues without ownership

Tickets keep returning because root cause, documentation, standards, vendors, and lifecycle planning are not owned by one accountable team.

Security and planning gaps

Leadership needs help understanding what is stable, what is risky, and what should be budgeted next.

Who should not hire Velocity

A company looking only for the cheapest break-fix labor

Velocity is built for accountable managed ownership, not the lowest one-off hourly ticket.

A buyer who wants a national call-center model instead of a local escalation path

The model depends on local context, clear escalation, and a Tempe-based relationship.

A defense contractor whose first need is CMMC readiness

Start with Velocity CMMC, our compliance practice at ITSupportConsulting.com, for CUI scoping, evidence preparation and CMMC readiness. We can still run the day-to-day IT once the scope is set.

A team unwilling to standardize onboarding, security basics, backup reviews, and vendor accountability

Managed IT works only when the environment can move toward documented standards.

What is included every month

Every managed IT plan covers the work below. Help desk and support are available 24/7.

Help desk and workstation support

A 24/7 help desk for workstation problems, access requests, onboarding and offboarding, printers and vendor calls, with onsite visits when remote help is not enough.

Monitoring, patching, and endpoint care

Device monitoring, patch coverage, endpoint protection, workstation and server standards, and replacement recommendations before hardware fails.

Microsoft 365 and cloud administration

User accounts, licensing, mailbox security, SharePoint and OneDrive permissions, secure collaboration, and Azure and AWS coordination.

Backup and continuity oversight

Backup monitoring, restore checks, recovery order planning and business continuity reviews.

Network and firewall ownership

Firewall review, Wi-Fi support, switching, ISP and vendor coordination, VPN and documentation.

vCIO planning

Quarterly roadmap conversations that turn support history, lifecycle risk, security gaps and budget needs into leadership decisions.

What gets scoped separately

New office buildouts

Move timing, cabling, internet, phones, cameras, and launch-day support usually need a project scope.

Major infrastructure replacement

Server, firewall, switching, wireless, storage, or endpoint refresh work is estimated after discovery.

Large cloud migrations

Email, identity, storage, server, or application migration work is scoped around risk, timing, and rollback planning.

One-time remediation projects

Cleanup debt, documentation recovery, backup repair, and security remediation can be sequenced before or alongside managed IT.

Specialty compliance implementation outside the normal MSP scope

Compliance-specific implementation belongs in a separate statement of work when it exceeds normal MSP operations.

Formal incident response / forensics outside regular managed support

Emergency forensic response and legal evidence handling need a separate incident process.

How onboarding works in the first 30 days

Week 1: Access, inventory and help desk

We record users, devices, licenses, vendors, backups and network gear, collect admin access, put monitoring on every device, and give your staff the help desk number.

Week 2: Close urgent gaps

MFA, patching and endpoint protection reach a baseline, backups are tested, and anything that is an immediate risk is fixed.

Weeks 3-4: Document and plan

We document the environment, and you get a ranked list of what we found, what we fixed and what to budget for next.

Switching from another MSP

We coordinate the handover of admin credentials, documentation and tools with your current provider so support does not lapse during the change.

What leadership gets each quarter

Support pattern review

Ticket history, recurring issues, vendor friction, and user-impact trends become leadership-visible decisions.

Risk and lifecycle view

Backups, identity, endpoint health, network gear, warranty timing, and security basics are reviewed before emergencies.

Budget and project sequence

Velocity turns technical findings into a practical roadmap for what to fix now, what to schedule, and what to watch.

Arizona experience

Founded in 2004

How pricing works

Per-user monthly rate

$185 per user for 1-10 users, $165 for 11-25, $150 for 26-50 and $140 for 51-100. Teams over 100 users are scoped individually.

What the rate covers

Help desk, monitoring, patching, endpoint protection, Microsoft 365 administration, backup oversight, network support and quarterly vCIO planning.

What adjusts the total

Servers, extra sites, firewalls, mobile devices, backup coverage and advanced security add to the base. Multi-site VPN, warehouse or manufacturing floors, heavy cloud use, high-security requirements and a move from another MSP raise the rate by a set percentage.

One-time onboarding

Onboarding is a separate one-time cost. The quote calculator estimates it next to the monthly range, and the free network assessment confirms both.

Defense contracts and CUI

CMMC or defense-contract requirement?

If a defense contract, CUI handling, DFARS flowdowns or a CMMC Level 2 requirement is behind the request, start with Velocity CMMC at ITSupportConsulting.com. Velocity Technologies can still run the everyday IT around it.
