Mesa IT support

Managed IT Services in Mesa, AZ

Velocity Technologies provides managed IT and 24/7 IT support to Mesa businesses in Downtown Mesa, the Falcon District around Falcon Field and the Mesa Gateway area. Technicians come onsite from our Tempe office, straight out US 60.

Mesa is large and spread out. A downtown office, an aerospace shop near Falcon Field and a warehouse by Gateway Airport each need something different from IT, and we plan for each one.

Where we work in Mesa

Mesa’s business districts are miles apart and built for different kinds of work.

Downtown Mesa

City offices, nonprofits, professional firms and startups in the downtown innovation district along Main Street and the light rail line.

Falcon District

The area around Falcon Field Airport in northeast Mesa, home to aerospace and defense manufacturers and their suppliers. Expect controlled-access shops, engineering workstations and customer security requirements.

Mesa Gateway and Elliot Road

Southeast Mesa around Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, with advanced manufacturing, logistics and data-center campuses along the Elliot Road Technology Corridor. Many sites are new builds that need networks, cameras and cabling planned from the start.

Fiesta District and Broadway Road

Medical offices, retailers, contractors and service companies in west Mesa, close to the Tempe line.

What Mesa businesses ask us to handle

Defense and aerospace requirements

Suppliers near Falcon Field often see NIST 800-171 language in their contracts. We run the day-to-day IT and bring in Velocity CMMC when a contract puts CMMC in scope.

Construction and field crews

Contractors run laptops and tablets from jobsites. We manage the devices, protect file sharing and keep crews connected without exposing the office network.

Warehouse and production floors

Scanners, label printers, shared PCs and Wi-Fi across large floor plates. We plan wireless coverage and keep those devices on their own network segment.

Summer storms and outages

Monsoon storms and summer power problems take offices offline. We test restores on a schedule, and we can add battery backup for network gear and a second internet line so a downed line does not stop work.

Support from our Tempe office

Mesa clients are supported from our Tempe headquarters. Requests start with the 24/7 help desk, and a technician comes out when a problem cannot be fixed remotely.

The route

US 60 runs east from our office through west, central and southeast Mesa. Falcon Field is reached by the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway, and the Gateway area by the Loop 202 Santan Freeway.

Carriers and phone vendors

We work directly with your internet provider when a circuit fails. Business phone systems are handled by Velocity Phone Systems, and we coordinate with them on the network side.

New buildings near Gateway

For new space, Velocity plans the network, camera and cabling work and configures the network side. Our partner J2 Technologies does the installation, and we support the result.

What the first 90 days look like

If you run a downtown office and a Gateway warehouse, both get a discovery visit in the first weeks, and both go on the same monitoring and backup standard.

Week 1: Learn your environment

We collect admin access, inventory users, devices, licenses, network gear, vendors and backups, and fix anything that is an active risk, such as an account without MFA or a backup that stopped running.

Weeks 2-4: Close gaps and document

MFA, patching and endpoint protection reach a baseline on every computer and server, and the environment is documented. Your staff already has the help desk number and can call us day or night.

Months 1-3: Roadmap and first review

You get a written roadmap in the first month. It also shows which sites would need battery backup or a second internet line to ride out a summer outage. By the end of the quarter we sit down with leadership to go over what we found, what we fixed, and what the next year of replacements, licensing and security work will cost.

FAQ

Mesa IT support questions

We are an aerospace or defense supplier near Falcon Field. Can you help with NIST 800-171 and CMMC?

We handle the managed IT side: device management, MFA, patching, logging and the backups those frameworks expect. CMMC scoping, documentation and readiness go through Velocity CMMC, our compliance practice, and the two teams work from the same plan.

We are a Downtown Mesa nonprofit or startup. Which option fits?

Fully managed IT is priced per user per month, and smaller offices fall in the first two tiers: $185 per user for 1-10 users and $165 for 11-25. Onboarding is a separate one-time cost. If someone on staff already handles IT, co-managed IT may fit better. The monthly quote calculator shows your number.

Our site is in the Gateway area or on the Elliot Road corridor. Can you support several buildings and cloud connections?

Yes. We connect sites with site-to-site VPN, manage the firewall at each location, monitor the circuits and document how traffic reaches your cloud services. In our quote calculator, a multi-site VPN network adds 8% and a warehouse or manufacturing environment adds 8%.

What does disaster recovery look like for summer outages and monsoon storms?

We back up servers and Microsoft 365 off-site and test restores on a schedule. We can add battery backup for network equipment, and for offices that cannot go offline, a second internet connection that takes over when the main line drops. The plan is written down so your staff knows who to call.

Do you work with our internet provider and phone vendor?

Yes. We open and follow up on tickets with your carrier when a circuit is down, and keep the account details in your documentation. Business phone systems are a separate practice, Velocity Phone Systems, and we coordinate with them on network setup for phones.
