Managed IT pricing

Managed IT pricing for Phoenix businesses

Managed IT from Velocity costs $140 to $185 per user per month, depending on team size. Every tier includes the 24/7 help desk.

These are the same rates our quote calculator uses. Onboarding is a separate one-time charge. Projects, hardware and licenses are scoped on their own.

Per-user rates

Monthly rates by team size

Your headcount sets one rate, and that rate applies to every user. The 24/7 help desk and the rest of the managed IT baseline are included at every size.

The calculator shows a range from 10% below to 15% above the monthly figure, rounded to the nearest $25. We set the final price after the free network assessment confirms servers, firewalls, backups and cleanup work.

Onboarding

How onboarding is estimated

Onboarding is a one-time charge, separate from the monthly price. The calculator sets it at 1.5 times the middle of your monthly range, rounded to the nearest $250. For a 25-user office with no adjustments, that is $6,250.

  1. Week 1: access, inventory and help desk. We inventory users, devices, vendors, licensing, backups and network gear, flag urgent risks, and give your staff the help desk number. Monitoring and ticketing go live.
  2. Week 2: close the urgent gaps. MFA, patching, endpoint coverage and backup checks reach a baseline, and we document them.
  3. Month 1: roadmap the next quarter. You get a first vCIO roadmap with priorities, owners and budget for the next quarter.

Included in the monthly price

  • 24/7 help desk and escalation support
  • Monitoring, patching and endpoint protection for workstations
  • Security baseline: MFA, endpoint protection and firewall review
  • Microsoft 365 administration: accounts, licensing, mailbox security and file permissions
  • Backup monitoring and restore-readiness checks
  • Network and firewall ownership, Wi-Fi and internet provider coordination
  • Vendor coordination for phones, copiers and line-of-business software
  • Quarterly vCIO planning with a written roadmap

Scoped and billed separately

  • Projects such as office moves, buildouts and server or network replacement
  • Hardware purchases
  • Software licenses
  • Major email, identity, server or cloud migrations
  • Camera system and data cabling installations
