Role scope

What this role owns.

Coordinate office moves, cloud changes, network upgrades, onboarding, and client projects with clean ownership.

Velocity work is grounded in local managed IT delivery: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, SonicWall/Fortinet/Ubiquiti, backups/DR, QBRs, ticket queues, onboarding, standards alignment, and white-glove support for Phoenix and East Valley businesses.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate IT projects with scope, owners, timelines, dependencies, risks, and client communication.
Drive onboarding, Microsoft 365, endpoint, network, firewall, backup, office move, and lifecycle workstreams.
Keep engineers, vendors, clients, and account teams aligned on next actions.
Document project decisions, change windows, risks, and completion evidence.
Escalate timeline, budget, access, and standards risks early.

Must-have qualifications

IT project coordination or project management experience.
Ability to manage dependencies across clients, engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Strong written status updates and meeting discipline.
Understanding of MSP services, Microsoft 365, network, endpoint, and backup project realities.

Nice-to-have experience

Experience with office moves, onboarding, firewall/network upgrades, Microsoft 365 migrations, or endpoint refreshes.
MSP, consulting, or multi-client service delivery background.
Experience using project boards, PSA tools, or ticketing systems.
