About the role
In this role you run IT projects from scope to close. Typical projects are office moves, Microsoft 365 changes, network upgrades, hardware refreshes and new-client onboarding.
This is one of the roles Velocity Technologies recruits for year-round. The job may be with Velocity, or with an organization in the Phoenix area that we recruit for. Most positions are hybrid. We confirm the employer, pay, schedule and benefits with you before any interview.
What you'll do
- Plan IT projects with scope, owners, timelines, dependencies, risks and client communication.
- Run onboarding, Microsoft 365, endpoint, network, firewall, backup, office move and hardware refresh work.
- Keep engineers, vendors, clients and account managers agreed on who does what next.
- Record project decisions, change windows, risks and proof of completion.
- Raise timeline, budget, access and standards risks early.
You're probably right for this if
- You have coordinated or managed IT projects.
- You manage dependencies across clients, engineers, vendors and business stakeholders.
- You write clear status updates and run tight meetings.
- You understand how Microsoft 365, network, endpoint and backup projects actually go.
Useful but not required: office moves, onboarding, firewall or network upgrades, Microsoft 365 migrations or endpoint refreshes; MSP or consulting delivery; PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master or ITIL Foundation. Equivalent experience counts.
Pay
$78,000 to $122,000 a year.
